Mark Constantinou - I was born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts.  I moved to Chicago in 2005 and have been a member of St. Basil ever since, which is where I met my wife Jenny Sianis.  We were recently married (at St. Basil) on February 8, 2009.  Jenny was born and raised in Park Ridge and has been a proud member at St. Basil since 1982.  Since being in Chicago, I have worked in various Management fields with hotels in and around Chicago.  Currently, I am a Regional Sales Manager for Marriott, representing over 80 hotels in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Missouri.  Currently my wife and I reside in Park Ridge and look forward to doing all we can to keep St. Basil growing.

Cathy Dimou-  Cathy is married to Graham Bell. They live in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. Cathy is a hospitalist at Rush University Medical Center, where she also serves as an administrator. She is active in many organizations including: St. Basil's Stewardship Committee, The American College of Physicians, The Institute of Medicine of Chicago, and the Greek Women's University Club.

Alice Ducas - Alice is a Teacher/Counselor at Francis W. Parker School in Chicago.  She has two children, Pericles and Ariadne.  This is Alice's first time serving on the Parish Council.  Alice is also active at the Hellenic Museum & Cultural Center.  Her interests are varied and include politics, writing, creating curriculum, and enjoying the Cubs.

Owen Field - Owen is married to Myra Karegianes and they have two daughters, Stacey (sophomore, Monmouth College) and Alison Rockmann (high school English teacher, Fairfax Co., VA), and a son-in-law, Kevin Rockmann (business professor, George Mason University).  Owen and Myra are attorneys.

Tony Frankos - I am married to my beautiful wife Helene of 24 years. We have 3 children. Marissa 21, is a graduate of the University of Iowa. Andrea 19, is a sophomore at Indiana University. And Jimmy 13, is a 7th grader. We live in Park Ridge. I work at the American Medical Association in Chicago as Vice President of Business Products.  Helene works at home and is very active in the Saint Basil community.

Eleni Kontalonis - I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I have been part of the St. Basil family since 1989. I'm the Office Manager for Alpha Baking Co (Rosen's/Maryann/Natural Ovens) overseeing the Indiana, Illionis and Wisconsin Areas. In my spare time I like hanging out with friends, shopping, playing darts and reading.

Harry Michas - I have been a member of St Basil since the late 1980’s after having grown up in the Assumption where I attended Plato School. My wife Kathy and I have a daughter Leanna who is a senior at the University of Illinois Champaign and a son Carl who is a sophomore attending the same University. I am currently a trader on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange associated with Man Financial out of London. I have taken on the task of Parish council President with the hope of increasing the number of Stewards, while working to fix and repair many of the long neglected projects that come with a building the age of ours. I intend to continue to help Father Chris and the members of St Basil maintain the unique atmosphere that has been the long time attraction at the Church.

Dan Mihalopoulos - My wife Connie Nichols and I have attended St. Basil since 2001. We were married at the church in 2003. Parents Vasilios and Despina Mihalopoulos, yiayia Eleni Mihalopoulos, brother Steve Mihalopoulos and his fiancee Amanda Akamphuber often come to St. Basil with us. I have been a reporter at the Chicago Tribune for 10 years.

Marian Papas -  I am the oldest member of this church. I have been here since 1980. I think Father Chris is terrific and I love him. 

Christ Pavlatos - Dr. Christ Pavlatos was born and raised in Chicago. While growing up, he attended Saint Demetrios Church in Chicago. He is an Orthopedic Surgeon with Illinois Bone and Joint Institute and has obtained an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Business.

Sam Sianis - Sam is the owner and operator of Billy Goat Tavern.  He is married to Irene and has six children: Bill, Tom, Paul, Ted, Patty and Jenny.  Sam has been a parishioner of St. Basil for over fifty years.

Tom Sianis - Tom has been a parishioner of St. Basil his entire life.  This is his first time serving on the Parish Council.   Tom is a Cook County Assistant State's Attorney.

Nick Triandafilou
