PASCHA 2009!

CHRIST IS RISEN!

TRULY HE IS RISEN!

Whether you call it EASTER, or PASCHA, or PASSOVER, this hopeful “religious” SPRING in our Lives offers us what no human, save Jesus Christ Himself, who of course was also God incarnate, could ever offer. Eternity is at our fingertips on Easter Sunday! All the Easter symbols: The Lamb, the Wheat, the Rose, the Lily, the candle, even the red Easter egg, give us the ultimate change of place each of us should have as a MAJOR goal in our lives, but few of us do. This is Salvation, that is, to LIVE forever.

In fact, to overcome “sin” itself is a “change of place.” It is a personal Passover: To go from darkness to light, to go from death to life or to go from temporal to eternal. All of this, through a simple three year ministry, a three year sacrifice. Finally, an execution allowed to happen because of HIS unconditional Love and a RESURRECTION that gives us the opportunity to gain just that, ETERNITY!

In fact, the “change” that all of us yearn for in our present political and economic reality, is so applicable to what we SHOULD be craving spiritually. But are we? Can we? Do we?

With His Love, through His Cross, and of course, His Resurrection, I and both the Kerhulas and Stathopoulos families send our blessings to each of you and your families.

I pray that the changes we need to truly become HIS children will be your reality this Paschal Season.

In Christ’s Love,

Father Chris P. Kerhulas
